Scouting For Food - Feb 18, 2012

All the area Boy Scouts were invited to collect food donations for the Scouting For Food drive on Feb 18, 2012.  Troop 1978 had 16 scouts and 8 adults who collected food donations by going door-to-door. We collected 1027 food items that weighed 1029 pounds and took our donation to the Good Samaritan food bank in downtown Garland. We also had someone donate a picture frame. What a great way to help our community and those in need.
